Monaghans provided Cost and Project management services for the fit out of the new high-end Japanese restaurant at the top of the new television centre redevelopment in White City.  The restaurant achieved Michelin star status within the first year of opening and won GQ's Best Restaurant at the 2023 Food and Drink Awards. 

Highlights

  • Delivering the restaurant and bar on budget through effective and efficient design management, supplier negotiation and strong contract administration / change control

  • Challenging Shell Building with numerous Landlord and site constraints including landlord services within the demise, vertical access between floors, fire strategy and roof plant at 8 storeys up with only small Lift access

  • Led client in establishing the full professional and contractor team for the restaurant

  • Managing and leading BREEAM process required

  • Managing and coordinating Planning and Listed Building Consents
