Candlelighters Fundraising Events

It’s been a busy year of fundraising events for our nominated charity, Candlelighters.

Over the last few months our staff have taken on some very daunting challenges.

This has included at the beginning of September a 148ft abseil down the Moba building in Leeds, raising over £500.

Then we had Matt Nicholson, Assistant Quantity Surveyor complete the National 3 Peaks, Ben Nevis, Snowdon, and Scafell Pike.  Matt completed this in 19 hours and 16 minutes and has raised more than £700.

The hiking theme continued when Alyson Temporal, Project & H&S Administrator and Steve James from Self Architects set out to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. They completed the 27 miles in an impressive 11.5 hours and raised over £360.

To celebrate the refurbishment of our Sheffield office, there was a BBQ and Quiz where everyone donated to cover the food and drink, with £330 raised (the burgers were out of this world)! 

Finally, at the Trebbi Golf Day there was a putting competition, £5 each for two shots. Once again everyone got involved and we raised over £200. 

We are pleased to announce since the start of September over £2000 has been raised for this amazing charity.
