Monaghans All Stars 2019

Monaghans All Stars 2019

A team of ‘Monaghans All Stars’ will once again be taking to the pitch for a charity football match at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane. This year’s match will kick off at 6:30pm on Thursday 30th May and will be raising funds for St Luke’s Hospice, The Children’s Hospital Charity and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The three chosen charities provide invaluable support to the Sheffield region. St Luke’s Hospice provide care and support to those with terminal illness, with their work touching the lives of around 5,300 people each year. It takes £9.7 million to provide these services, with £7.2 million of that from donations. The Children’s Hospital Charity supports Sheffield Children’s Hospital in keeping their specialist service special, providing the best equipment, opening new facilities and funding vital research to change lives. Bluebell Wood offer care and support to children and young adults with life shortening and life-threatening conditions. Receiving just 10% of their funding from the government, Bluebell Wood need to raise £11,000 everyday just to keep their doors open.

Playing on the now Premier League pitch, the highly anticipated match will see Monaghans All Stars, managed by Regional Director Tan Khan, face off against ‘Redbrik Rovers’, led by Redbrik Estate Agents’ Director, Mark Ross.

Supporters, friends and family are invited to attend; admission is free and gates will open at 6:00pm with entry through the Platinum Suite.
